Online Darts Arena (ODA) — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of Online Darts Arena ("ODA", "we", "us" or "our") and all ODA tournaments, leagues, rankings, communities, promotions and related services.

1. Operator and Legal Notice

Online Darts Arena is operated by:

The website must also provide a permanently accessible Legal Notice / Imprint containing all additional information required for the Operator's actual business form and trade status.

Additional mandatory business, trade-authority, chamber, register, VAT or supervisory information, where applicable to the Operator, is provided in the ODA Legal Notice / Imprint and forms part of the information made available to users.

2. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms apply when you use the ODA website or account, register for or participate in a Tournament or League, use an ODA payment flow, receive prize money, use ODA credits, rankings, communities, promotions, Academy services or other ODA features.

For a paid competition, ODA may require you to actively accept:

• these Terms;
• the applicable Tournament Rules or League Rules; and
• for an average-restricted competition, a separate eligibility declaration.

ODA may record the version, date and time of acceptance and the competition to which it relates.

If there is a conflict, mandatory law prevails. Otherwise, the more specific competition rules prevail over these general Terms for that competition.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

3. Age and Legal Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your country of residence if higher, to enter paid ODA competitions unless ODA expressly provides a lawful alternative.

You are responsible for ensuring that your participation, payment of entry fees and receipt of prize money are lawful where you live.

ODA may request reasonable information to verify age, identity, account ownership, country, payment, payout or competition eligibility.

4. ODA Accounts

You are responsible for activity carried out through your ODA account and must keep your login details secure.

You must not:

• impersonate another person;
• use or share another player's account;
• create multiple accounts without ODA approval;
• use another account to bypass a ban, category restriction, payment rule or ranking rule;
• provide materially false identity, country, eligibility, payment or payout information; or
• attempt to access restricted admin or private-user areas without permission.

ODA may investigate, restrict or suspend accounts where there is a reasonable concern of misuse, fraud, impersonation, account sharing or rule evasion.

5. ODA Services and Third-Party Platforms

ODA may provide Tournament and League listings, registration, Terms acceptance, eligibility review, payment links, check-in, rankings, results, prize records, communities, promotions, Academy services and related administration.

Gameplay, payments or communications may take place through third-party services such as DartCounter, Nakka, PayPal or WhatsApp.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, ODA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, operated by, partnered with, or officially connected to those third-party services.

Players are responsible for maintaining any required third-party account and complying with that provider's rules and technical requirements.

Subject to mandatory law, ODA is not responsible for failures that occur solely within a third-party service and outside ODA's reasonable control.

6. Registration and Contract Formation

A registration is not automatically a confirmed place.

A paid registration may include the following stages:

• Registration Created;
• Payment Required / Pending;
• Payment Confirmed;
• Eligibility Review, where applicable;
• Approved / Confirmed; and
• Checked In, where applicable.

Clicking a payment button or opening an external payment page does not by itself mean that payment has been received or that entry has been confirmed.

Before a paid order is submitted, ODA will display the applicable price and essential competition information. Payment buttons must clearly communicate that the action creates a payment obligation.

ODA may reject, waitlist or cancel an application where registration is closed, capacity is reached, payment is not confirmed, eligibility is not met, required declarations are missing, or a legitimate integrity or security concern requires review.

7. Payments

Prices are displayed before purchase. Unless stated otherwise, ODA competition entry fees and prize amounts are shown in GBP (£).

Only payments made through an official ODA payment method or expressly accepted by ODA are recognised for registration purposes.

A direct or unallocated payment does not automatically create or confirm an entry.

Banks, PayPal, card issuers and other providers may apply their own currency conversion or transaction charges. ODA is not responsible for provider charges imposed independently under that provider's terms.

Fraudulent payment attempts, chargeback abuse or false payment claims may result in cancellation, account restriction, prize withholding or further action.

8. Withdrawal, Cancellation and Refunds

ODA Tournaments and many League Events are leisure services scheduled for a specific date or period. Where the statutory exception for fixed-date leisure services applies, there may be no 14-day statutory withdrawal right. ODA will provide any legally required pre-contract information.

Where that exception does not apply, or another mandatory consumer right applies, that right remains unaffected.

Subject to mandatory law and the published competition policy, a refund is generally not owed where the player voluntarily withdraws, misses check-in, does not attend, makes a time-zone mistake, fails to read clearly published information, or cannot participate because of a player-side device, internet, camera or account problem.

If ODA cancels a paid Tournament or League service and does not provide a substantially equivalent replacement, ODA will provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include a refund, credit, transfer or another agreed remedy.

A normal eligibility rejection is not automatically treated as misconduct. Where a paid player is rejected before participation without deliberate deception or misconduct, ODA will apply the published refund/credit policy and mandatory law.

9. Competition Eligibility and Restricted Categories

Restricted Categories and Divisions exist to protect fair competition.

By entering one, you confirm that your actual playing level is reasonably appropriate for that competition. ODA may require a separate eligibility declaration for the specific entry.

A displayed average on DartCounter or another third-party platform does not automatically guarantee eligibility.

ODA may consider relevant recent Tournament history, previous ODA performances, match history, average trends and other reasonably available evidence of actual playing standard.

Natural improvement and one unusually strong performance are not automatically misconduct.

Detailed eligibility, sandbagging and manipulation rules are contained in the ODA Fair Play Policy and the relevant competition rules.

10. Tournaments

Tournament-specific rules are contained in the ODA Tournament Rules and the relevant Tournament page.

Those rules may cover category limits, format, camera requirements, check-in, reporting, scoring, external-platform use, prize structure and operational changes.

Players must review the applicable Tournament information before entering.

11. Leagues

League-specific rules are contained in the ODA League Rules and the relevant League / Season page.

A League may contain Seasons, Divisions, League Events, rankings, communities and prize pools.

Joining a WhatsApp Registration Hub or community does not constitute official League registration.

A League place may require Terms acceptance, League Rules acceptance, payment confirmation, eligibility review and ODA confirmation.

An advertised "Possible Prize Pool", "Maximum Prize Pool" or "Up to" amount is not guaranteed unless the required conditions and player numbers are met.

12. Rankings, Results and Corrections

ODA may operate Tournament Rankings, Season Rankings, League Rankings, Overall Rankings, Order of Merit and qualification systems.

The specific ranking rules published for the relevant system apply.

ODA may correct results, points, rankings or prize records where there is a reliable basis such as an administrative error, corrected result, disqualification, eligibility decision, fraud finding or rule breach.

13. Prize Money and Payouts

Prize money is payable only after the relevant result and eligibility requirements are confirmed.

Players must provide accurate payout details using a payout method supported by ODA and are responsible for their own tax and reporting obligations.

ODA may temporarily delay or withhold a payout while reasonably investigating cheating, sandbagging, false eligibility declarations, match fixing, false scores, payment fraud or another material integrity issue.

ODA may request payout details within an administrative period and may mark a prize as unclaimed if details are not provided. An internal administrative deadline does not remove a non-waivable statutory or enforceable legal right.

14. Fair Play, Misconduct and Investigations

The ODA Fair Play Policy applies to all ODA competitions.

Serious or repeated misconduct may result in a warning, disqualification, result correction, point removal, prize hold or voiding, category restriction, League restriction, community restriction, temporary suspension or permanent ban, depending on the circumstances.

Where ODA reasonably finds deliberate statistics manipulation, intentional underperformance, false eligibility information or another intentional attempt to obtain unfair access to a restricted competition, ODA may take proportionate action under the Fair Play Policy.

Any refusal of a refund or treatment of an Entry Fee following deliberate misconduct applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory law and the applicable pre-contract rules. It is not automatic for ordinary eligibility rejection or natural player improvement.

ODA may use relevant account, payment, competition, ranking, report, communication and audit information when investigating integrity issues.

15. Community Conduct

Users must communicate respectfully with players, ODA staff and community members.

Abuse, threats, harassment, hate speech, discrimination, doxxing, scams, spam, impersonation, deliberate disruption and malicious false accusations are prohibited in ODA-controlled or ODA-related spaces.

ODA may remove content or restrict community access where proportionate and lawful. A community restriction does not automatically mean that all other ODA services are restricted unless ODA separately imposes that restriction.

16. Credits, Promotions and Academy Services

ODA may issue platform credits or operate referral programmes, promotions, free-entry rewards and Academy services.

Additional published conditions may apply.

Unless expressly stated otherwise or required by law, ODA credits are not cash, are not transferable and may be used only for eligible ODA services.

Academy or coaching services do not guarantee a particular average, ranking, prize, sponsorship or professional sporting outcome.

17. Platform Availability, Bugs and Security

ODA aims to provide reliable services but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Users must not intentionally exploit bugs, duplicate registrations, payment errors, ranking errors, broken links or technical vulnerabilities for personal advantage.

ODA may correct an incorrectly granted benefit, registration, ranking position, payment status, prize or access permission.

Where a paid consumer service cannot be supplied, ODA will provide any remedy required by applicable law.

18. Privacy and Records

ODA may process personal data required for accounts, registrations, Terms and eligibility acceptance, payments, check-in, rankings, prizes, support, fair-play review, community management and security.

Further information is provided in the ODA Privacy Notice.

ODA may retain records where reasonably necessary for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, security, legal compliance and platform administration.

19. Intellectual Property

The ODA name, logos, original graphics, website design, original text, databases, software and other protected materials are owned by or licensed to ODA.

Except where permitted by law, you may not copy, commercially redistribute, scrape restricted ODA data, falsely claim affiliation with ODA or use ODA branding in a misleading way without permission.

20. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

Subject to mandatory law, ODA is not liable for loss caused solely by a player's own internet, device, camera, account or payout-detail error, or by a third-party outage outside ODA's reasonable control.

Where legally permitted, liability for minor negligence is limited to foreseeable loss resulting from breach of an essential contractual obligation.

21. Changes to Terms and Rules

ODA may update these Terms and competition rules for legitimate operational, technical, security or legal reasons.

The current version and update date will be published on the ODA website.

Where a material change affects paid services or important user rights, ODA may require active acceptance before the user makes another paid registration.

Changes will not retroactively remove mandatory legal rights or a prize already lawfully earned and confirmed, except where a valid correction, fraud finding or disqualification applies.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Austrian law, to the extent legally permitted.

For consumers, this choice of law does not remove mandatory protections that apply under the law of the consumer's habitual residence where those protections cannot lawfully be excluded.

Mandatory consumer-jurisdiction rules remain unaffected. Consumers are not required to litigate exclusively in Vienna where applicable law provides another mandatory venue.

For users acting as businesses, and where legally permitted, the competent courts in Vienna, Austria shall have jurisdiction.

23. Severability and Contact

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory law applies in place of any invalid consumer clause.
