Official Rules
1. General
By entering any ODA tournament or qualifier, players agree to follow all rules listed below.
ODA reserves the right to update rules or make final decisions in case of disputes or unclear situations.
2. Tournament Format
All matches are played using online darts scoring software approved by ODA (e.g. DartCounter or similar platforms).
Standard format:
- 501 – Double Out
- Best of 5 Legs
Special events or qualifiers may use different formats, which will always be announced before the tournament begins.
3. Qualifier Series
The ODA Qualifier Series follows this structure:
- 16 qualifier tournaments
- 8 players per qualifier
- Qualifiers are average-based (Below 50, Below 60 or Open)
- The winner qualifies for the Grand Final
A qualifier is a small tournament where 8 players compete for one spot in the Grand Final.
Qualifier matches are played in the following format:
- Rounds before the qualifier final: Best of 3 sets
- Qualifier final: Best of 5 sets
The 16 qualifier winners compete in the Grand Final for the main prizes.
Players may enter multiple qualifiers until they qualify.
Each qualifier requires a separate entry fee.
4. Entry Fees & Refund Policy
Entry fees must be paid before the tournament begins.
⚠️ All entry fees are non-refundable once registration is confirmed.
This includes duplicate or accidental payments.
If a tournament must be cancelled due to organizational reasons, players will receive a free entry to a future tournament.
5. Minimum Players
ODA reserves the right to cancel or postpone tournaments if the minimum number of players is not reached.
6. Player Requirements
Players must:
- use the scoring software correctly
- enter scores accurately and honestly

Failure to appear may result in disqualification.
7. Fair Play & Sandbagging
Fair play is mandatory.
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
• Sandbagging (intentionally lowering your average to enter lower categories)
• Entering incorrect scores
• Allowing another player to compete on your behalf
• Using multiple or fake accounts
• Any other form of unfair advantage
ODA reserves the right to move players to a different category, remove players from tournaments (events), or disqualify them if any of these rules are violated.
8. Category Rules
based on player averages (e.g. DartCounter or similar tracking platforms)
If a player’s level clearly exceeds the category, ODA may:
disqualify the player from the qualifier series
move the player to a higher category
remove the player from the tournament
Qualifier Eligibility
Players must meet the required average at the time of entering a qualifier (e.g. Below 50 / Below 60).
A player’s average may increase after qualifying.
In this case, the player is still eligible to compete in the Final, as qualification was achieved within the correct category.
ODA reserves the right to review averages at the time of qualifier entry.
