MEMBERSHIP & SEASON FAQ
Does £4.99 cover a full season?
The planned membership is £4.99 GBP per month for this independent league, not a fixed season price. Subscriptions are not enabled yet. Billing terms will be confirmed before entry opens.
When can I register and pay?
This independent league is in preparation. Registration, payments and live matches are not enabled yet. Opening dates and season dates will be announced separately. DartCounter dates do not apply to this league.
How is my league division assigned?
The same six sporting ranks apply. Initial allocation uses reviewed evidence for this playing platform. The number of eligible participants determines active divisions and balanced sizes. Planning rosters are not confirmed registrations.
Do I need a division rank before paying?
No payments are currently accepted for this league. Before launch, independent eligibility approval and payment verification must be available. A DartCounter subscription does not confirm entry here.
Who receives a trophy, and where does ODA ship?
The officially verified first-, second- and third-place players of each completed active division each receive one physical ODA Matchplay trophy and an official certificate of achievement confirming their placing. Only first place receives the division champion title. Standard delivery is included worldwide, with no additional ODA standard shipping charge. Winners must confirm their current private delivery address before dispatch. Legal shipping restrictions still apply; contact ODA before subscribing if delivery to your address may be restricted.
How do promotion and relegation work?
Finish among the promotion places to climb the ranks. Standard direct places are 4 for 16 players, 3 for 12–15, 2 for 8–11 and 1 for 6–7. An adjacent active division must exist. Exchanges use the lower of the two adjacent quotas to keep movements balanced. The highest active division cannot promote further; Bronze cannot be relegated. A standalone division has no interdivision movements.
Can I cancel, and are prize draws included?
No subscription can currently be started for this league. The planned format uses monthly membership and sporting trophies, not cash prizes or random prize draws. Cancellation and withdrawal terms will be provided before payments open.
The sporting ladder
SIX RANKS.
ONE SPORTING LADDER.
Season 1 league allocation is based on verified playing strength, assessed using ODA Recent Average or administrator-reviewed playing evidence. The number and size of active divisions depend on confirmed eligible participation. Allocation dates for this independent league will be announced separately. In later seasons, promotion and relegation follow official league results. The ranks below show the sporting ladder, not your confirmed division.

PROMOTION & RELEGATION
Every match matters. Fight for the title. Earn your promotion. Avoid relegation. Finish first in the final confirmed league table to become your division champion.
DIRECT PROMOTION & RELEGATION PLACES
| Players in division | Up | Down |
|---|---|---|
| 16 | 4 | 4 |
| 12–15 | 3 | 3 |
| 8–11 | 2 | 2 |
| 6–7 | 1 | 1 |
Places require an adjacent active division. Exchanges use the lower of the two adjacent divisions’ standard quotas so equal numbers move in each direction. The highest active division cannot promote further. There are no promotion playoffs, relegation playoffs or deciding matches.
BECOME A DIVISION CHAMPION
First place in the final confirmed table wins the title, physical trophy, digital badge and permanent championship record.
EARN YOUR PROMOTION
Finish among the promotion places to climb the ranks. The highest active division cannot promote further. No playoffs or deciding matches: the final confirmed table decides.
PROTECT YOUR PLACE
The corresponding bottom places move down to the next active division. Bronze cannot be relegated, and no division moves when only one division operates.
Moves apply to the following season. ODA reviews returning players, withdrawals and expansion before confirming balanced 6–16-player divisions; earned championships and historical movements are retained.
The prize
WIN THE OFFICIAL

ODA handles ordering and dispatch after each recipient confirms their private delivery address. Legal shipping restrictions still apply.
OFFICIAL MATCHPLAY LEAGUE RULES & ENTRY INFORMATION
Planned sporting format for this independent league. Registration, subscription terms and live operations must be completed before entry opens. No payment is currently accepted.
Competition and eligibility
Autodarts is required for this independent league. The planned maximum eligible average is 75.00. Playing evidence must be reviewed for this platform; DartCounter identities, eligibility approval and subscriptions are not transferred automatically.
Each active division contains 6–16 players. Everyone meets once: 501 Double Out, best of 9, one scheduled match per week, no draws. Odd-sized divisions use rotating BYEs without points. A win earns 2 league points, a loss 0. First place in the final administrator-confirmed table is the official division champion. A 16-player division has 15 matchweeks, 15 matches per player and 120 matches in total; 12 players have 11 weeks, 8 have 7, and 6 have 5. Availability closes the preceding Sunday at 23:59 UK; matches must finish by their matchweek Sunday at 23:59 UK.
Only participation-supported tiers activate. Six players share one Bronze division even when their averages differ. Verified strength guides the first season; subsequent progression follows official sporting results. Divisions represent sporting achievement, not fixed average brackets.
ODA activates only as many divisions as the player count supports, distributing participants as evenly as reasonably possible: 6–16 players form one division, 17 players form divisions of 9 and 8, 32 players form two divisions of 16, and 96 players form six divisions of 16. Above 96 registered players, further applicants join a clearly communicated waiting list until capacity is approved.
Promotion, relegation, tiebreaks and trophies
Promotion and relegation are direct. There are no promotion playoffs, no relegation playoffs and no deciding matches; the final confirmed regular-season table decides every movement. Direct places follow the division size: one place at 6–7 players, two at 8–11, three at 12–15 and four at 16. Places require an adjacent active division; exchanges are balanced at the lower of the two adjacent standard quotas. No promotion above the highest active division, no relegation below Bronze, and no movements when only one division operates. Administrators review withdrawals, returning players and new entrants before publishing valid next-season allocations. Championships and earned sporting achievements are retained through expansion or consolidation.
Standings are decided by league points, overall leg difference, head-to-head, total season legs won, then a comparable verified Matchplay season three-dart average. For three or more tied players, the head-to-head mini-table compares points, leg difference and legs won. Skip the average criterion if accurate, comparable verified scoring data is unavailable. Any remaining tie affecting a trophy position, the championship, promotion or relegation is settled by a transparent, random and documented ODA-supervised draw, with the affected players informed. Only official verified results and statistics count; walkovers award points without artificial legs or averages. No additional playoff matches are held, and the published tiebreaking rules cannot be changed retrospectively.
Every completed active division awards three physical trophies: one each for first, second and third place in the officially confirmed final table. Each of these three recipients also receives an official certificate of achievement confirming their placing. Only first place earns the Season Champion title. Six active divisions mean 18 trophies; one active division means three trophies. ODA Matchplay League Membership is £4.99 GBP per month, paid by recurring PayPal subscription until cancelled. There is no minimum term. Membership includes the advertised trophy entitlement and worldwide standard delivery, subject to legal shipping restrictions. Cancel future renewals in PayPal Settings → Payments → Automatic payments. Participation requires eligibility approval, a valid participation slot and an independently verified subscription. A finalized division rank is not required before payment; Allocation dates for this independent league will be announced separately. One monthly payment does not purchase an entire season. If a payment fails or a subscription becomes inactive, ODA reviews future participation under these rules, preserves completed results and does not automatically award forfeits.
Matchplay League rewards consist of championship titles, trophies and sporting achievements. No cash prizes are awarded.
ODA manages fulfillment manually. Winners must confirm their current private delivery address before ordering or dispatch. Standard trophy delivery is included worldwide with no additional ODA standard shipping charge. Legal shipping restrictions still apply and any affected destination must be clarified before subscribing.
Eligibility Approved is not Registration Confirmed. Payment Pending means your first payment is due or awaiting verification. Approval, a reserved participation slot and verified payment confirm registration; Division Assigned follows the published final allocation. Existing paid entries must not be charged again.
