Online Darts Arena (ODA) — Community Rules

Good darts. Good company. These rules explain the standards for ODA-controlled community spaces, including official registration hubs and league groups. They supplement the Terms of Service and Fair Play Policy. Third-party platforms also apply their own terms; ODA cannot moderate every independent conversation.

1. Respect every player

Treat opponents, administrators and spectators with respect. Competitive disagreement is welcome; threats, discriminatory abuse, harassment, sexual harassment and hate speech are not. Do not organise targeted attacks or deliberately disrupt another person's participation.

2. Keep personal information private

Do not post someone else's home address, telephone number, payment details, identity documents or private messages without a lawful basis. Use private ODA contact channels for payment problems and sensitive evidence. Group membership may expose your profile or telephone number under the third-party provider's settings; review those settings before joining.

3. Report concerns, do not run public trials

Raise a suspected scoring, eligibility or safety issue with the relevant moderator or the ODA contact. Identify the match, date, concern and available evidence. Good-faith reports are welcome even if they cannot be substantiated. Knowingly fabricated evidence, malicious allegations and public intimidation are prohibited. Report live gameplay issues promptly where the platform offers a reporting function; serious concerns may still be raised later.

4. No scams or impersonation

Do not impersonate ODA, an opponent or a payment provider. Do not post phishing links, fraudulent prize claims, malicious software or requests for passwords or card credentials. Do not collect entry fees on ODA's behalf unless expressly authorised. Use official registration and payment routes.

5. Keep discussions relevant

Use the appropriate channel for fixture arrangements, results and general conversation. Avoid spam, repeated unsolicited promotion and flooding. Ask the relevant moderator before posting commercial offers or external invitations. Do not use group access to send unwanted private promotions to members.

6. Community access is not competition entry

Joining a WhatsApp, Discord or other group does not confirm payment, eligibility or a reserved league place. Official competition status is determined through ODA's registration process. Private division groups may be restricted to confirmed participants. Community access and paid competitive benefits are distinct; a group restriction does not automatically erase results or remove every unrelated service.

7. Share evidence responsibly

Submit only relevant material you are entitled to share. Do not alter screenshots to mislead or publish recordings to shame an opponent. Keep sensitive material in the private reporting route. ODA handles reports under the Privacy Policy, with proportionate access and retention.

8. Moderation must be proportionate

Depending on the circumstances, moderators may ask for a correction, remove an offending message, give a warning, temporarily restrict access or remove a member for serious or repeated misconduct. Urgent safety action may precede a full review. Where reasonably practicable, ODA explains a material decision and gives the affected person an opportunity to respond. An interim restriction is not itself a final finding of cheating.

9. Ask for a review

Contact ODA through the Imprint, identifying the group, decision and relevant facts. ODA considers material factual errors and new evidence. Review requests must remain respectful. No arbitrary new complaint deadline is introduced here, and statutory consumer, privacy and court remedies remain available.

10. Scope and changes

These rules govern ODA-controlled spaces, not all activity on independent services. Material updates are published transparently and cannot retrospectively remove mandatory rights or justify an unrelated paid-service penalty.
